BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOGRAPHY

“I wish I could tell you why I love black and white photography. Maybe it's the absence of color that opens the door to imagination or interpretation. Black and white photography gives the audience the flexibility to design the colors in their imagination. Maybe it's the dramatic contrast of shadows that tells a story. When I take a photo, I always say,“but what would it look like in black and white?" Many times we associate black-and-white photography with memories captured on film.

I think every photo will become a memory that I had the privilege of capturing. Maybe it is the intensity of the blacks and whites fighting for presence in a photo that shows the fight between good and evil in our own lives.

Maybe that is why I love B&W photography."
